Tormented Introduction

Since this is the first post of this blog, let me start with a small introduction.

I am starting this blog with the aim to capture my experiences of my journey through arduous MBA process and hopefully (Amen!!) if I get an admit, then through the MBA experience as well. I will make every effort to de-motivate any person reading this blog to not apply for an MBA ( As may be evident through first few lines, I have a habit of using poor sarcastic humour in my posts).

About me: I am just an average joe. I work in the consulting industry as an Analyst. One day, being fed up of creating powerpoint slides, taking meeting notes and gathering meaningless data, I decided to pursue an MBA to find that elusive multi-million dollar job profile for doing nothing. Therefore here I am, going through the painful process of applying to B-schools and living in constant state of worthlessness and despair.

On a serious note, I decided to start this blog because I wanted to drop my two cents among the multitude of MBA information freely available on the net. Another more selfish reason was that I wanted to find the writer in me, who was lost when I switched from MS word to MS PowerPoint and started talking in bulleted points and business English.

Let us join our hands and wish this journey to be a fruitful one for all of us....
